There’s a girl who’s “the nicest person you’ll ever meet”

            There’s a girl who can’t forgive

There’s a girl who’s “a living saint”

            There’s a girl who’s a sinner

           

There’s a girl who’s beautiful

            There’s a girl who’s full of beauty

There’s a girl who always says good when you ask how are you?

            There’s a girl who’s lying every time she answers

There’s a girl who insists she’s always fine

            There’s a girl who doesn’t know that word’s definition

There’s a girl who‘s always smiling

            There’s a girl who wants to cry

There’s a girl who dresses impeccably

            There’s a girl who’s gorgeously messy

 

There’s a girl who’s beautiful

            There’s a girl who’s full of beauty

There’s a girl you’ve never seen angry

            There’s a girl who wants to scream but doesn’t know how

There’s a girl who broke up with him a year ago

            There’s a girl who’s still trapped by his control

There’s a girl who tried to help him

            There’s a girl who was trampled on

There’s a girl who knows what she deserves

            There’s a girl who settled for much less

There’s a girl who knows her dignity and worth

            There’s a girl who was taken advantage of

There’s a girl who knows she’s a classy lady               

            There’s a girl who still blames herself

There’s a girl who feels safest wrapped in a hug

            There’s a girl who’s scared of being hurt by one

There’s a girl who protects everyone else

            There’s a girl who needs protection

 

There’s a girl who’s beautiful

            There’s a girl who’s full of beauty

There’s a girl who puts herself last

            There’s a girl who needs a hand

There’s a girl who trusts too easily

            There’s a girl who can’t trust anyone

There’s a girl who’s humble

            There’s a girl who can do it alone

There’s a girl who’s your Simon of Cyrene

            There’s a girl who needs a Simon of Cyrene

 

There’s a girl who’s beautiful

            There’s a girl who’s full of beauty

There’s a girl you “can see Christ in”

            There’s a girl who feels furthest from Him

There’s a girl who goes to daily mass

            There’s a girl who’s still waiting for Jesus to meet her

There’s a girl who “shines with the light of Christ”

            There’s a girl who feels darkness

There’s a girl who really loves God

            There’s girl who can’t let Him love her

There’s a girl who’s delicate and gentle

            There’s a girl with genuine strength

 

There’s a girl who everyone knows

            There’s a girl who no one knows

There’s a girl who wants to keep you sheltered

            There’s a girl who wants to let you in

 

There’s a girl trying to reconcile her beauty.
