Hi! I’m Carolyn.

I created theYCW in 2013 as a senior in college. Throughout my twenties theYCW continued to grow, and many of you accompanied me to the altar where I married my best friend, Peter, in June 2022. We have two children, Noel + Leo, who are both in heaven, and we live in my grandmother’s little cottage. Your support means the world to me. It is an honor and total joy to accompany you on your spiritual journey.

I feel very strongly that there is no one-size-fits-all young Catholic woman, which is why I work hard to represent women with various tastes and aesthetics. I never felt like I fit in one camp (the hipster Catholic? The edgy one? The conservative one?), so I spend hours curating this shop to find essential, original and curated products to help you grow in your faith, wherever and whoever you are.
