A Note About Scripture

This is a site dedicated to reaching into the hearts of women to rekindle their relationship with themselves, with significant others, and most importantly, with our Holy. We have a ton of prose on here, beautiful testimonies, thought-provoking reflections, and as much as we women love to talk amongst ourselves, we need to take a step back.

Our Holy has something far greater to say.

And that's what's incredible. He reveals Himself directly to us. He's written not hundreds of articles but billions of lives, all whose sole purpose was and is to be lived for His glory. In a very straightforward way, He speaks explicitly to us through scripture. His words carved canyons, spoke humanity into being, and condemned His son.

And this Word? It took on flesh and became one of us.

Scripture for Tired, Lonely and Wounded Hearts

Ah, you are beautiful, my beloved, ah, you are beautiful. -Song of Songs 2:15

My lover speaks; he says to me, "Arise, my beloved, my beautiful one, and come! For see, the winter is past, the rains are over and gone. The flowers appear on the earth, the time of pruning the vines has come, and the song of the dove is heard in our land. The fig tree puts forth its figs, and the vines, in bloom, give forth fragrance. Arise, my beloved, my beautiful one, and come! -Song of Songs 2:10-13

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. -Proverbs 147:3

Blessed are the clean of heart, for they will see God. -Matthew 5:8

Beloved, let us love one another, because love is of God; everyone who loves is begotten by God and knows God. Whoever is without love does not know God, for God is love. In this way the love of God was revealed to us: God sent his only Son into the world so that we might have life through him.  Isaiah 43 is wicked powerful

Fear not. -Isaiah 43:1

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. -Jeremiah 29:11

What I am doing, you do not understand now, but you will understand later. -John 13:7

Not my will be done, Lord, but Your will. -Luke 22:42
