the magazine you’ve been waiting for…
VIGIL is a quarterly magazine for young Catholic women that takes modern design to elevate content that every woman—Catholic or not—can benefit from consuming.
We were tired of beautifully designed magazines but with content that seemed too niche for the average woman. We’ve been craving a publication that not only had soul-satisfying content but looked good too. We wanted something we could leave on our coffee table long after we received it because its content is timeless.

FAQs
Is this publication also for non-Catholic women?
Yes! It started with our name, VIGIL - we wanted a word that wouldn’t turn non-denominational women away, but had rich meaning for Catholic women. VIGIL provides engaging articles that cover a variety of topics from Catholic doctrine, and while some pieces are overtly Catholic, there’s something for everyone.
What if I’m not a “young” Catholic woman?
We’ve been growing theYCW for six years now and our readership has grown up with us! Maybe a lot of us aren’t actually all that young anymore, but our rule of thumb is if you’re between the ages of 18-35, we feel pretty confidant you’ll find something worthwhile both in VIGIL and at theYCW.
How frequently will you print new issues?
Our publishing schedule is February, May, August, and November beginning 2021.
How can I contribute?
We are not accepting freelance submissions at this time, but follow us @theyoungcatholicwoman for any announcements. We’re always on the look out for photography to feature. Start the conversation at hello@theycw.com…we’d love to hear from you!
Do you ship internationally?
We do! We see you Australia! We understand though that some consider the cost a bit too much (currently $22-25). It kills us. But you can also purchase a digital issue of VIGIL here.
What if I want more than one copy?
We’ll give bulk discounts on orders over five copies. Email us at hello@theycw.com to learn more.
Can I advertise with you?
Yes! Send us an email at hello@theycw.com.

The love of God is readily apparent throughout the pages of VIGIL magazine.
From the moment I first learned about VIGIL magazine, I was moved. They gather feminine voices in such an authentic and powerful way. To top it off their design is simply enchanting.
This magazine is definitely a more-than-one-sitting read and I'm loving it so far.
I just received my first copy of Vigil put out by theYCW and was absolutely BLOWN AWAY at how well produced and beautifully laid out it is. This is really a fabulous publication, I highly recommend.
