How elegant is this Christmas ornament? Anyone else’s mom give you a meaningful ornament each year as you grew up? Peter’s mom did this as well, and I love hanging ornaments on our Christmas tree each year (I always get a particular laugh out of the one that has his high school girlfriend in it!).
This one is special though, and I can see it making the perfect gift for a newly wedded couple, for someone who became a mother that year, or simply as a way to bring the sacred back into many Christmas traditions.
